I am Rob Poore and I am an absoloute sports fanatic. I love just about everything pertaining to sports. Throughout the course of my life athletics and physical activity have given me many things: confidence, friends, appreciation (not acceptance) for failure, determination, knowledge of sportsmanship, values, goals and much more.
I love my job as a Physical Educator because I not only get to deal with sports and athletics, but also the opportunity to invest in young people’s lives. I am more than excited for the opportunity to share things so valuable to me and to hopefully make an impact on my students that will impact their quality of living for the rest of their lives.

The FIFA World Cup starts on Friday June 9th. The highly ranked Yankees are the extreme underdog in their own group; with many not expecting the US to make it out of group play. Thinking that a top ten USA team might not make it out of group play and the idea that in soccer any team can beat anyone on any given day just makes my point so much stronger: THE WORLD CUP IS THE BIGGEST SPORTING EVENT….PERIOD

New research says that the amount of water one should consume daily depends on body weight. In general you should drink one half of your body weight in ounces. So if you were to weigh 100 lbs. you should be drinking somewhere around 50 oz. of water each day.
